One of Binance’s investors, Vertex Ventures SEAI, is leading the latest funding for Coinomo cryptocurrency trading exchange.

Jakarta, TechnoBusiness Crypto ID Coinomo, the cryptocurrency trading exchange in Southeast Asia, today announced a new funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India.

Vertex Ventures SEAI is part of global venture capitalist Vertex Ventures from Singapore, an investor that previously funded the Binance Asia cryptocurrency trading exchange.

The latest funding round was also joined by zVentures, venture capitalist owned by Razer, a leading global lifestyle brand for gamers.

Then, Spartan Group, a leading blockchain advisory and digital asset management company in Asia based in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Also, Leo Cheng, an individual investor with Venture Dao, a community-based investment decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) made up of business founders.

An existing investor, Turn Capital, is also participating in the new funding round. Unfortunately, the amount of funding disbursed was not stated.

Coinomo CEO Evie Zhang stated that Coinomo is determined to be the largest and most trusted crypto gateway in Southeast Asia, with a market share of more than 665 million people.

“Investing in Coinomo is fun and customers will love to open the app and keep using it all the time,” explains Evie.

Vertex Ventures SEAI did not hesitate to invest in Coinomo because, said Genping Liu, a partner at the venture capitalist, who had worked with Joseph and Evie, the founders.

Prior to obtaining the latest funding, Coinomo acquired Dapp Pocket, a digital currency wallet app from Taiwan, and Cappuu, a yield aggregator service with DeFI.
